I’ve actually had a YouTube membership running for a little while now.
I hadn’t announced it anywhere until now, but between the community space for fellow guitar lovers, live silent classical guitar videos, and a set of members-only videos, everything’s finally ready — so I wanted to write it up properly and let you know.
Why I’m Starting a Membership Now
At Freeman 365, the goal has always been:
- Making guitar a lifelong hobby
- Getting you improving as fast as realistically possible
- Helping you enjoy guitar on your own, indefinitely
and I’ve built the Matsu Plan (Complete) — all 30 pieces plus a full roadmap — along with a free 15-minute practice blueprint, all aimed at getting a real classical guitar practice environment into as many hands as possible.
At the same time, the live streams I’ve been putting out have technically been public, but I’ve never had a proper way to present them as a whole. The membership is where I’m organizing that existing body of work for anyone who wants to go deeper.
The Two Membership Tiers
Right now, the YouTube membership has two main tiers.
Tier 1: Guitar Lovers
This gets you access to the Discord community. It’s a space to casually connect with other people practicing guitar the same way you are.

- A server (the community/hub): think of it as one big building where people who share the same hobby gather.
- Channels (rooms organized by topic): inside the server, there are text “chat rooms” and voice “call rooms,” among others.
- Membership & permissions (the key): once you join the membership, you’re automatically granted “keys” — permissions that unlock specific rooms.
How to Join on Discord
Once you’ve joined the YouTube membership, all you have to do is link your YouTube account from Discord’s settings screen, and your personal “key” unlocks automatically, dropping you straight into the members-only rooms.
Tier 2: Live Video Access (Recommended)
You get anytime access to the full archive of live streams I’ve put out so far.
Going forward, performances and technique breakdowns of pieces built specifically for guitar improvement will keep getting added to this tier over time.
Today is just the starting line — the content library will keep growing from here.
